Hamilton, London Tickets
Hamilton, the sensational multi-award-winning Broadway musical, tells the story of the birth of a nation and its revolutionary spirit through the colorful life of one of America’s most important founding fathers – Alexander Hamilton. Hamilton’s life was full of drama. A buccaneer, the son of a whore and a Scotsman who immigrates from the West Indies to become George Washington’s right-hand man and Secretary of the Treasury before his epic death, where he was killed in a duel by his rival Aaron Burr.
Created by Lyn-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton tells the story of America’s past through the music and culture of today with gripping songs from hip-hop to operetta and rap to blues. In the words of The Guardian, Hamilton is “brash, nimble, historically engaged and startlingly contemporary”.

Historical Background
Alexander Hamilton’s rise was highly unusual for his time. Born out of wedlock in the Caribbean and of mixed European descent, he faced discrimination and class prejudice in a society dominated by wealthy white elites. Despite this, his brilliance and ambition led him to become George Washington’s aide and the first U.S. Secretary of the Treasury. His story defied the rigid norms of early America and remains a powerful example of unlikely success.
What Seating Should I Choose?
The Victoria Palace Theatre in London has a traditional three-tier seating layout:
-
Stalls – Located at ground level, the Stalls offer the closest view of the stage. Seats in the central section provide the most immersive experience, though views may be slightly restricted in the far sides and very front rows.
-
Royal Circle – Just above the Stalls, the Royal Circle offers excellent sightlines and a slightly elevated perspective. It’s ideal for taking in large-scale choreography and set design, especially in musicals like Hamilton.
-
Grand Circle – The highest tier, offering a more distant view but better value. Front rows here still provide a good experience, though legroom can be limited and some rear seats may feel far from the action.
