From London: Christmas Day Lunch, Salisbury, Bath & Windsor

Our Christmas Day tour from London takes you to Salisbury Cathedral, a drive past Stonehenge, a visit to the city of Bath and to the town of Windsor. It also includes a delicious Christmas Day lunch which is sure to put you in the festive spirit!

Our Christmas Day tour is available on 25 December only. Get ready for a wonderful day out accompanied by a friendly English guide who will bring the day to life!

Highlights:

• Start the day at Salisbury Cathedral, one of the most impressive cathedrals in England. You will attend the Christmas Day Eucharist service.
• We will then drive past Stonehenge. Stonehenge is closed on Christmas Day, but you’ll still be able to see views of the iconic stone circle as we drive past on our way to lunch
• We will have a traditional Christmas Day lunch, one of the highlights of the day. We will enjoy a 3-course meal together with a glass of wine to put you in the festive spirit, finishing with tea or coffee. You can view the menu here.
• We’ll start the afternoon in the UNESCO City of Bath, a beautiful city that many viewers of the Netflix series Bridgerton will recognize, as it was used as a filming location in the making of the series. Enjoy a panoramic tour of Bath with its stunning Georgian architecture
• Our Christmas Day Tour ends in Windsor at dusk. Whilst Windsor Castle is closed on Christmas Day, we will walk around the pretty town of Windsor, which is located just a stone’s throw from the official Royal Residence
• We will arrive back in London at approximately 7:00pm

Spending Christmas on a day trip from London

Christmas is one of the most magical times to visit London and England. On Christmas Day, many attractions and restaurants are closed, as well as public transportation. This means taking a day trip can be a great way of spending the day.

• The tour departs at 8:00 am from Stop Z6, outside 50 Grosvenor Gardens, London SW1W 0DH
• It will finish at approximately 7:00pm, a 2-3 minute walk from Gloucester Road Tube Station.
