Wales Private Tour from London
Day 1:
- Departing from London, drive towards the Welsh mountains
- Start the day at the border town of Chester. This walled city was founded as a Roman fortress and you’ll enjoy a walking tour along the ancient walls, past the Roman remains and Chester cathedral. You’ll also visit The Rows, a unique series of covered walkways with long galleries used as shopping arcades
- Drive into the spectacular North Wales countryside and enjoy the dramatic landscapes
- Visit Conwy and enjoy a walking tour of this walled market town that dates to the 13th Century. You’ll get to visit Conwy Castle, one of the most magnificent medieval fortresses in Europe and part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site
- Stay overnight in Llandudno, a seaside resort located on the Creuddyn peninsula. Enjoy one of the traditional pubs in the evening
Day 2:
- Start the day with a hike up The Great Orme, a huge chunk of headland rising straight out of the sea
- Visit the Isle of Anglesey over the Menai Straits. Head to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwy
rndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch, the village with the longest name in the world! - We then drive into Snowdonia National park and enjoy a nature walk around Beddgelert
- Ride the Ffestiniog Railway with a journey by steam train through the Snowdonia National Park
- Continue the drive through the Welsh Countryside as we make our way back to London
The Ffestiniog Railway is closed during the winter months. In this case, we can include a visit to Caernarfon Castle.

We can arrange accommodation in a local bed & breakfast. The hotel we normally use is the Warwick Hotel, situated in the seaside resort of Llandudno.
