Suggested Itineraries
A private tour excursion from Southampton can go just to Stonehenge or include a visit to some surrounding locations. We offer 8-hour excursions with a driver/guide. We can also arrange 4-hour or 6-hour excursions with a vehicle and experienced driver (without guiding).
Visit Stonehenge & Bath (8 Hours)

The Roman Baths
Turn your private tour into a full day excursion with a trip to Stonehenge and Bath!
Bath is a UNESCO World Heritage City famous for its Georgian architecture and Roman heritage. We recommend visiting the Roman Baths and having a walk around the beautiful town centre. Highlights include Bath Abbey, The Royal Crescent and iconic Pulteney Bridge. There are plenty of places to have lunch in the city, including several traditional English pubs. At the end of the tour, we can drop you in Central London, Heathrow Airport or return you to Southampton Cruise Terminal.
Stonehenge & Windsor Castle (8 Hours)
Visit two of England’s most famous attractions, Stonehenge & Windsor Castle, on a day trip ending in London or Heathrow Airport.
Visit Stonehenge first, and then head to Windsor Castle, which is the oldest continuously working castle in the world. This is one of the homes of King Charles and his family and was recently the spot where Harry and Meghan got married. Enter the world of royalty with a visit to the State Apartments and St George’s Chapel.
At the end of the tour, we can drop off at Heathrow Airport or Central London.
Visit Stonehenge & Salisbury (6 Hours)

Salisbury Cathedral
It’s very popular to combine a visit to Stonehenge with another nearby location. For a 6-hour Southampton shore excursion, we recommend visiting Salisbury Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which houses one of only four original copies of the Magna Carta. Built between 1220 & 1258, the cathedral is a remarkable architectural achievement, with a breathtaking interior.
Salisbury is conveniently located between Stonehenge and Southampton. We usually suggest visiting Stonehenge first and then travelling to Salisbury Cathedral on our way back to Southampton.
Visit Stonehenge (4 hours)
Four hours is the perfect amount of time to visit Stonehenge from Southampton Cruise Terminal. It takes just over 1 hour to drive to Stonehenge, and around the same amount of time to drive back. This typically leaves around 90 minutes for you to explore the site, including the Stone Circles and Neolithic Village.
