Our English coutryside private tour from Southampton visits some of the prettiest villages and towns in the area. This is perfect for cruise passengers looking for a day trip with a tour guide. Travelling in an 8-seater vehicle, enter into the heart of the English countryside to some of the most beautiful villages in the region. Visit Salisbury, a charming market town famous for its extraordinary cathedral. At the end of the day, we can either return to Southampton, drop you at Heathrow Airport or at any Central London accommodation.

We’ll visit several of these charming English villages, driving along windy country lanes and enjoying the views along the way
Discover Beaulieu, a delightful village whose name means “beautiful place”, located on the River Beaulieu
Visit Lyndhurst, known as “the Capital of the New Forest”, with many independent shops, art galleries, cafe and pubs. Alice Liddell, the inspiration for Lewis Carol’s “Alice in Wonderland”, is buried in the church.
Stop at Brockenhurst, where ponies, deer, donkeys and cows are known to roam the main street! This is one of the prettiest places in England, and a real gem of the New Forest.
Discover Burley, a small village known for its thatched roof cottages and charming tea rooms. The village is home to one of the best Cider producers in the country
From here, we’ll drive through the English countryside to Salisbury
Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring this lovely market town. Enjoy a guided tour of Salisbury, with its many famous and historic buildings
Visit Salisbury Cathedral, a breathtaking building which has the tallest spire in Britain. The cathedral houses the original 1215 Magna Carta, one of only four copies in the world, and is home to the world’s oldest working mechanical clock.
From here return to Southampton Cruise Terminal, or alternatively we can drop you at Heathrow Airport or a Central London hotel.
