Begin your day with a visit to the picture-perfect village of Bibury. Admire the 14th-century row of houses known as Arlington Row, which were once wool stores and were converted into weavers’ cottages in the 17th century.
With time to explore, take a relaxing stroll along the River Coln, a shallow river that adds to the peacefulness of Bibury.. Bibury is also renowned for its many tearooms, the most famous being The Swan Inn.

We continue to the village of Bourton-on-the-Water, known as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’. The River Windrush is a shallow and gentle river that flows through the centre of the village, with small stone bridges crossing it. There will be time to explore the local shops, including clothing and gift shops, as well as art galleries, and eateries.
Burford
The final village of the day is Burford, known as the Gateway to the Cotswolds and 17 miles from Oxford. The historic town boasts a beautiful high street lined with medieval buildings and is renowned for its numerous antique shops. The Church of St. John the Baptist features parts dating back to the 12th century, offering an impressive display of stone architecture and stained glass windows.
From here, we return to Oxford, arriving back at approximately 5:00 p.m.
