Morning Walking Tour
10:30: Meet in front of the Beatles Statue, located just outside Liverpool Cruise Terminal
10:45: Start the morning with a visit to the Museum of Liverpool, which hosts a ground-breaking exhibition telling John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s story in their own words. It features personal objects alongside art, music and film produced by both John and Yoko
11:15: Enjoy a guided Liverpool Beatles walking tour, taking you to the most important sites in the city. Walk through the Royal Albert Docks, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and pass by the Town Hall balcony where the Beatles famously stood waving to thousands of fans below.
11:30: Walk along Matthew Street, passing by the statue of John Lennon, the Beatles store and several pubs formerly visited by the band
12:00: See the Cavern Wall of Fame and visit the Cavern Club, the most famous nightclub in the world. This is the birthplace of the Beatles, and they played here on 292 occasions
12:30: Visit the Jacaranda Club. The Beatles used to come here all the time and used the basement as a rehearsal studio. Here you will be able to buy food and drink
13:15: Continue the walking tour, passing John, Paul & Ringo’s former school. See Liverpool Cathedral, where a young Paul McCartney unsuccessfully auditioned for their choir in 1953!
13:30: Hop on a public double-decker bus, and travel on the same route that the Beatles used to take to get to Penny Lane
14:00: Visit Penny Lane, the first and second homes of John Lennon and the Strawberry Field Gates
16:00: The tour ends at Liverpool One, a shopping mall with independent boutiques, cafés and restaurants
