The Titian exhibition takes place at The National Gallery from 8 July 2020 to 17 January 2021. On display are a group of paintings showing Classical myths primarily taken from the Roman poet Ovid’s ‘Metamorphoses’. For the first time in three centuries, five of the six paintings in the series will be reunited in London. These are some of the greatest paintings in European art, with striking depictions of love, desire and death.
