Sorting Britain: The Power of Postcodes

Learn the surprising story behind the postcode which revolutionized the processing, sorting and delivery of the mail. Visitors can try their hand at coding post and view amazing unseen maps of London from the 19th Century. ELSIE goes on display, one of the only original post office sorting machines.
