The Scotch Whisky Experience is located in the heart of Edinburgh along the Royal Mile. It’s just a short walk from iconic attractions like Edinburgh Castle and is one of the most popular places for tourists to visit in the city. The experience has been open for over 30 years, proudly showing Scotland’s most famous export to visitors from around the world.
What is Scotch Whisky?
Scotch Whisky must come from Scotland! It also has to follow some strict regulations in order to use the name by law. For example, all Scotch whisky must be aged in oak barrels for at least three years
There are 5 types of Scotch Whisky: single malt Scotch whisky, single grain Scotch whisky, blended malt Scotch whisky, blended grain Scotch whisky, and blended Scotch whisky
