Queen Victoria’s Photographer in Scotland is an exhibition taking place at Holyrood Palace from 17 July to 4 October 2020. George Washington Wilson was amongst the best known royal photographers, who is famous for his portrait of Queen Victoria on her horse ‘Fyvie’, accompanied by her servant John Brown. The display includes royal portraits made for Queen Victoria’s personal collection as well as Wilson’s beautiful views of Scotland.
