The Paula Rego exhibition goes on display at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art from 23rd November 2019 to 19th April 2020. One of the most important Portuguese artists, Rego is renowned for her paintings, prints and storytelling works reflecting a feminist ideology. This exhibition will explore her works from the 1950s up until 2012, and highlights include Dog Woman (1952), Snow White and her Stepmother (1995), The First Mass in Brazil (1993) and Joseph’s Dream (1990).
