The Oxford & Cambridge boat race will take place on 26 March 2023. Known as The Boat Race, this is the annual contest between England’s two most famous universities. The race takes place on the River Thames, between Putney and Mortlake. This is one of the biggest free sporting events in London, and you can watch it on the river banks of the Thames, including at
Putney, Hammersmith, Barnes or Chiswick. It will also be broadcast on the BBC and online.
