Lake District Day Tour
Choose to add a sightseeing day tour of the Lake District, which departs from Windermere Tourist Information Centre & Keswick Central Car Park. This 10-lake tour takes you off-the-beaten-track to the fells, valleys and lakes from the south to the north. Led by an experienced guide, you’ll drive along the windy country lanes, over dramatic mountain peaks and into the beautiful valleys, stopping at some of the charming Lakeland Villages in the region. You’ll get to visit Castlerigg Stone Circle, take a cruise along one fo the lakes and visit the birthplace of William Wordsworth, England’s most famous poet.
This is a small-group tour, with a maximum of 16-passengers.

Add rail tickets to/from UK train stations. This can often work out cheaper than buying the railway tickets separately, and is an easy way to book your travel. This can include train tickets from Manchester Airport, which is the nearest airport to the Lake District.
