The best places to stay in London to get to Heathrow are on the Picadilly Line, which runs direct from Heathrow airport into Central London. The area around Kensington is about 30 to 35 minutes on the tube from Heathrow airport, and is a great place to get to London’s museum nieghbourhood, and not too far from places like Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. The three main tube stations in the area are Earl’s Court, Gloucester Road and South Kensington, and we’ve come up with a few recommendations of good places to stay near these three stations to get to Heathrow.
