How to get to Stratford-upon-Avon from London
There are a number of ways to get to Stratford-upon-Avon from London. For independent travellers, the train is the fastest way to get to the town, with regular services from Marleybone Station which is easy to get to from most areas of London. There are also buses from London Victoria which tend to offer cheaper ticket prices to Stratford but the journey time is longer. Finally, there are several group tours to the town with direct departure and return to and from London. Some of those tours even include visits to other nearby worthwhile attractions.

By Train:
- Trains run from London Marleybone Station to Stratford-upon-Avon. There are a few direct trains throughout the day, but most trains involve an easy change either at Leamington Spa, Dorridge or Birmingham Moor Street. The journey takes between 2 to 2hr30m.
- Marleybone Station in easily accessible from pretty much any location in central London. Its connected to the London underground via the Bakerloo line but its also worth noting that Baker Street station is a 10 minute walk from Marleybone, and Baker Street has 5 underground lines: Jubilee, Bakerloo, Metropolitan, Hammersmith & City, Circle. There are also many buses that go Marleybone.
By Bus:
The bus is a good alternative to the train if you are looking for the cheapest way of getting to Stratford-upon-Avon from London. All buses services to Stratford-upon-Avon depart from London Victoria Coach Station on the National Express service. The journey lasts around 3 hours but is considerably cheaper than the train.
By Tour:
Many visitors choose to take a tour to get to Stratford-upon-Avon from London, which is often the most cost-effective and convenient way of traveling to the Cotswolds. Tourist England offers a few tours to Stratford-upon-Avon, and the tours often include visits to nearby attractions such as Warwick Castle or Oxford.
