The George IV Exhibition at Buckingham Palace will take place at the Queen’s Gallery until 1 November 2020. Th exhibition will re-start on 23 July, when the Queen’s Gallery at Buckingham Palace reopens to the public. The exhibition will showcase the life of King George IV who reigned for 10 years from 1820 to 1830. During his life, George amassed a huge collection of fine art, much of which remains in the Royal Collection. This includes paintings, drawings, ceramics and fine books. The collection tells a story of the time in which the king lived, and also reveals details about the life of this monarch who lived an extravagant lifestyle.
