The Edinburgh Fringe Festival takes place from 7-31 August 2020. This festival is always the highlight of summer’s in Edinburgh and is the world’s greatest platform for creative freedom. For three full weeks, you’ll find thousands of performances taking place across the city, from big named artists to emerging talents. Artists come from a large range of fields, from singers and dancers to theatre, comedy, opera, exhibitions and more! In 2017, over 53,000 (!!) performances of over 3,000 shows took place, all in a 3-week period.
This is one of the world’s greatest cultural festivals, and the city of Edinburgh explodes with visitors. If you are visiting Edinburgh during this time, it’s recommended to arrange accommodation well in advance since hotels will get booked up.
