Dora Maar Exhibition, Tate Modern, 20 Nov 2019 to 15 Mar 2020
The Dora Maar exhibition takes place at the Tate Modern from 20 November 2019 to 15 March 2020. Maar is one of the most important Surrealist photographers. Whilst is she is most known for being the subject of Picasso’s paintings, recent exhibitions have sought to showcase the artist in her own right. The Tate Modern exhibition will explore the full length of Maar’s career, and will put it in the context of works by her contemporaries.
