Get Castle Howard entrance tickets and visit one of the most stunning stately homes in England. Situated 15 miles from York, a visit makes for the perfect day out. You’ll get to go inside the 18th Century House and admire its charming rooms, whilst learning about the 11 generations of the Howard family who have lived here and how each generation shaped the history and heritage of this iconic landmark.
The ticket also includes entrance to the gardens, which are perhaps a highlight of the visit. There are over 1,000 acres to explore, which are divided up into different gardens which include the walled garden, woodland garden, as well as lakes, waterways, an impressive Mausoleum and The Temple of The Four Winds.
No visit to Castle Howard would be complete without stopping in one of the delightful cafes or restaurants. Why not time your visit to coincide with an afternoon tea, taken in the delightful boathouse cafe? (Of course, food and drink are not included in the entrance ticket!)
The House is open daily from 10.30am, with last entry for a free flow visit at 3pm
The Gardens are open daily from 10.00am until 6.00pm (with last entry at 5.00pm).
