The Buddhism Exhibition at the British Library takes place from 25th October 2019 to 23rd February 2020. The exhibition will explore the origins of Buddhism and its relevance today. There will be a wide range of pieces and artwork on display, including rare works from the British Library’s collection. Highlights include sacred texts written on bark trees, silk scrolls, and remarkable artefacts. There will also be contemporary artwork on display from Hong Kong, Singapore and Taiwan, providing a glimpse into Buddhist communities in the 21st Century.
