the wheatsheaf inn:
The Wheatsheaf Inn is a small boutique bed and breakfast, located in the market village of Northleach. The B&B has a total of 14 rooms, and we were impressed the quality of the accommodation. Each room has been carefully decorated, with a lot of thought put into the layout – the beds in particular were extremely comfortable. Continental breakfast is on the house, although you can upgrade to a full English for an additional charge. We were impressed by the quality of the food not just for breakfast, but also their evening restaurant and bar. This is really popular with the locals and gets booked up well in advance, so make sure to make a reservation.
Northleach is one of the lesser known, but extremely pretty Cotswolds villages. There’s not an enormous amount to see and do, espeically in the evening when the village shuts down, so this is the perfect Cotswolds B&B is you’re looking for a bit of peace and quiet.
